My name is Amie. I am an artist and self-taught cook. I have an insatiable appetite for all things food, including developing my own recipes, food photography, and food illustration. I am likely planning my next meal as you read this.

I hardly ever used to cook until I became the caregiver for my mother. While learning my way around the kitchen, I often found great pride in creation. I rarely followed recipes, but instead designed my own.

I enjoy treating myself to large portions (most notably desserts) while keeping my nutritional habits reasonably healthy. Luckily, I also enjoy a good challenge. Using a unique array of ingredients, I have set out over the years to create high-volume recipes that are satisfying without sacrificing quality or healthfulness. It has been an ongoing challenge, but an adventurous one nonetheless.

I am beyond grateful that you have found your way here to join me as I share my recipes, artwork, and a slew of other good things that stem from my passion for food. Here’s to thinking big, dreaming big, and eating big!
